It Ain't a Quilt Till It's Quilted!

I love custom quilting!  The moment I "drove" a long-arm machine I was forever hooked.  I've only been at it a year, but was a calligrapher for many years and I think the muscle memory from that guided me to this wonderful life.  This is the first quilt I quilted for a customer last December, a very trusting friend, I might add!  His mother had passed and he found this unfinished top as he was sorting her house.  I asked if I might "practice" on this lovely piece and wa-la, about 30 hours later this 1937 friendship top was reborn. What a privilege to work on these pieces!
